We’re always looking for talented individuals who can support our beneficiaries and the people we support to live well and lead happy, healthy and fulfilled lives.
Our work is important and rewarding. If you are committed, enthusiastic and open to new ideas and ready ready to be part of a dynamic and diverse team, let’s talk. Join a supportive, rewarding environment offering competitive pay and career development.
We know that learning and development play an important role in creating a productive and meaningful career. Through both workplace training and ongoing learning and development, we support our team members in reaching their goals.
Would you enjoy working in a friendly supportive atmosphere within a purpose built, modern care home, fully resourced in attractive landscaped gardens providing high quality services covering daily living activities to older people?
We are looking for Bank Care Assistants for our respite home, Ruskin Lodge. The role involves covering for permanent Care Assistants during periods of absence, such as holidays or sickness.
Your day will never be dull. One minute you will be supporting guests with personal care or being a friendly listening ear. The next you will be helping organise activities and entertainment; occasionally you may accompany guests on day trips out. Your domestic cleaning duties will help maintain Ruskin Lodge’s reputation for outstanding cleanliness.
Your compassionate understanding of older peoples’ needs, and your enthusiasm and motivation will be welcomed. You can demonstrate your caring skills and knowledge gained from your Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or be willing to work towards this.)
You will require a flexible approach to shift working as the need for bank staff arises. There are a variety of shifts available, early shift: 7.30 am – 2.45 pm, late shift: 2.30 pm – 9.45 pm and night shift: 9.45 pm – 7.45 am.
As you would expect from an equal opportunities employer that cares for people, there are training and development opportunities to keep you up to date with all the best caring practices.
Why not apply for the position and find out more. We will organise and pay for the enhanced disclosure and barring service check required for the post.
